Butchers Gemtime Jewellers provide a jewellery valuation service

Most insurance policies require that items of jewellery over a certain value be specified, otherwise any claim is limited to that value. This limit varies between policies, as does how the claim is settled.

This may not be sufficient evidence for older or high value items in which case a written valuation is required

With the advent of fracture filling and colour enhancing of stones, we recommend a gemology report carried out by a gemologist whose services we have entrusted for over 25 years.

As some pieces may be able to be valued in store, we will help you to determine which option you would prefer.
